A Visit of Encouragement and Hope From  Mr. Eammon and Mrs. Caroline, from Great Britain

St. Joseph’s Mpigi Roman Catholic Parish recently had the honor of welcoming Mr. Eammon and Mrs. Caroline, among the generous sponsors supporting the construction of our new church. Their visit was a moment of great joy, encouragement, and thanksgiving for the entire parish community.

The purpose of their visit was to witness firsthand the progress of the construction works. We are pleased to share that, by God’s grace and through the generosity of our benefactors, the church structure has successfully reached slab level, and construction of the parking area is currently underway. This visible progress is a clear testimony to faith in action and collective commitment to building a house worthy of worship and community gathering.

We are deeply grateful for the selfless support of Mr. Eamon, Mrs. Caroline, and the many other sponsors and parishioners who have committed their resources toward this noble cause. Their generosity continues to transform our vision into reality and strengthens the spiritual and physical foundation of our parish.

Special appreciation goes to Rev. Fr. Lumala Aloysius, a son of Mpigi Parish, through whom we were blessed to connect with these benefactors. His dedication and love for his home parish have played a significant role in mobilizing support for this important project.

As a parish, we remain prayerful and thankful. We entrust all our benefactors, friends, and supporters to the intercession of St. Joseph’s, asking God to bless them abundantly for their kindness and continued partnership. May the Lord who sees every good deed reward them richly.

Together, with faith, unity, and generosity, we continue to build—not only a church structure—but a strong and vibrant parish community.
